Shannon grew up in Plains Montana and attended MSU Bozeman for a BS in Exercise Science. Her experience with wildland fire and trail work as well as a love for hunting, trail running, and both types of skiing fuel her passion for helping endurance athletes get strong and resilient! Her coaching philosophy is routed in being intentional and staying consistent regardless of life's challenges. She also programs and coaches the Pitt's youth program 5 days/ week focused on teaching the basics of good movement and strength training as well as challenging their developing neuromuscular systems! Outside of the gym she also enjoys gardening, cooking and reading!
