Performance Coach

Ashley Lyons

Ashley has joined the Pitt with excitement to be part of the community at the gym. She was born and raised in Bozeman, and grew up recreating in the mountains year-round.

Ashley’s coaching philosophy stems from personal experiences with a back injury and ACL tear. She believes that progressive strength development and increasing exercise capacity in a controlled gym environment builds confidence and resilience to excel in dynamic environments outside of the gym.

Through these experiences, she understands the challenges and commitment it takes to regain strength and move without hesitation post injury. She is passionate about coaching clients through these challenges, as well as help build confidence and strength in the gym.

Her athletic background includes a variety of sports including alpine ski racing, mountain biking, tennis, and volleyball, which lead her to pursue an undergraduate degree in Exercise Science from MSU, and a Masters Degree in Exercise Physiology with a focus on Motor Control.

Outside of the gym Ashley enjoys outdoor activities like alpine skiing, mountain biking, and rec sports with more mellow activities of reading, baking bread, and many different art projects. She is excited to be a part of the Pitt community!
